I am a clarinet. I make a smooth, gentle sound. I am the newest person in the orchestra. All of the other instruments have been alive a lot longer than me.
My sound is made by being blown through the top. I use a reed. A reed is one very thin piece of wood.
I have many brothers and sisters, all different sizes. They all make the same sound as me but much higher or lower, depending on their length.
